on global learning principles, this 8 hour interactive learning
experience will challenge today's Christian leaders to grapple with the
very real issues men, women, youth and families are facing.
The
seminar will provide leaders a safe forum to analyze and strategize for
very practical growth in making the church a safe place for those who
are grappling with sexual identity concerns.
Leveraging the peer learning
environment through case studies, role playing and group discussion,
this unique opportunity will focus on current trends and the complex
pastoral scenarios facing our leaders today. |
Seminar Details:
Purpose:
- To prepare the Body of Christ to effectively engage matters of sexual identity with Christ-centered confidence and compassion.
- To investigate the complex realities of gender and sexual identity and same-gender attraction so that the church will be a safe place for those personally addressing these issues.
- To work together to build bridges in response to the needs and experiences of those the church reaches out and ministers to.

- Pastors, youth leaders, ministry leaders, small group facilitators, other members of church or denominational leadership teams

Christian counselors: for counselors connected with the Professional Association of Canadian Christian Counselors this seminar qualifies as a CEU
credit.
